“How wonderful …

“How wonderful that no one need wait a single moment to improve the world.”
~Anne Frank

It seems a bit daunting, the thought of improving the world.  Where would — where could — we start?  The great news is that it looks different for each of us.  And the even better news is that we don’t have to do it ourselves!

Where is Jesus leading you?  What opportunities is He giving you?  This quote, its message, sums up my life in this season.  I know the Lord has given me specific desires, passions, abilities, and talents on purpose; He has a specific place in this world for me.  (Can we just meditate on that fact?!  A specific place for each one of us…)

What does it look like?  How does it work?  There are far too many variables and options for me to figure out on my own.  So I am praying, reading, writing, waiting.  It may seem ironic, in regard to the quote, that I’m waiting — but I’m not, really, because prayer is one of the greatest means of improvement.

Thanks for your prayers and support, friends.

  1. Love reading your wonderful posts!! I agree. Prayer is doing something – and He is using you for His kingdom work even as you wait. Each day is an opportunity to serve, right where we are. :) Love your heart, Amy!!
